You had us at hello!

When we initially started this blog we thought about calling ourselves “The Real Divas of Zimbabwe.” Well, why would we wanna call ourselves that? Well particularly because there is so much misconception about living in Harare. I mean, it’s such a pendulum. There are people living in Harare like they are living in New York, and there are people living in Harare like they are living in Harare.

Is that the pendulum?

Anyway, real talk though. Zimbabwe is a beautiful country but it is marked by a lot of problems. We want to talk about the problems as well as celebrate the victories of our country from a very personal and realistic view.

So now don’t go about judging us thinking that we know everything. Far from that, we actually know nothing. Maybe that’s why we are doing this blog. (laughs) Maybe somewhere in between or somewhere along it we are going to discover that we are so confused. But hey, we might as well take you on this journey with. What you should expect is factual information, unedited coverage, and dha-rling, you will not be disappointed.
