In Kenya, located in East Africa, uncertainty and election anxiety hover but despite the tense atmosphere the beautiful peace loving and caring people of Kenya have not lost their smile! Karibu karibu (welcome in swahili) is just how I feel here.

The 44 tribes in Kenya gives the country its character which is rich in culture. From the Maasai warriors to the Pokot, Kikuyus.....

During my stay in Kenya, I have experienced the contagious kindness, generosity and caring nature of Kenyans. Their sense of style has charmed me beyond measure, quite a stylish nation I must say. The fashion here is exciting, particularly the burst of color on the cultural apparel. YES, eastern hospitality on LOCK.

Kenya's location on the World Map.

The generosity of this nation has been best exhibited by our facilitators who are established and busy people but have made time out of their crazy schedules to impart their knowledge on running a business in the fashion industry. Their dedication towards the growth of Africa's fashion industry is inspiring.

Caring Kenyans. My fashion family has been absolutely amazing. I mean these guys have opened up their homes and workshops to me. They have taken time out of their very hectic lives to keep me entertained during our downtime.

We're celebrating the Freedom fighters who liberated our country from the Brits. In line with that, celebrate anyone else who has been there for you and inspired you in any way by telling them "Wewe ni Shujaa wangu"..meaning you're my Hero.So on behalf of the group, you guys leaving the comfort of your homes to come all the way for a fashion course. For that, I say,"Nyinyi ni Mashujaa wetu".💪🏿🙌🏾👏🏾🤝👍🏾🤜🏾💥⚡✨🌟⭐🔥⚡☄☀" from Alex of Afro Moda .

There is a lot more to be said about Kenya!!! For now, as we enter into the much-anticipated election week may we all be reminded that the Kenyans are kind-hearted, generous and amazingly caring people!! Rich in heritage and inherently stylish.
